Create a model-to-cartridge record
Ask for the housing or jug model, original cartridge code, photographs of markings and measured dimensions. Record the attachment type, sealing surfaces and included seals. Keep threaded, push-fit and other constructions distinct even when the product names are similar.
Request a supplier compatibility list for the exact offered model. If the supplier proposes a substitute, compare its dimensions and fitting on a reference unit before accepting the claim. Do not extend a match from one model to an entire brand.
Separate fit from filtration performance
A successful fitting check does not prove that water is safe to drink or that the product removes a particular contaminant. Compare the whole replacement arrangement rather than only the initial unit price. Record minimum quantities, pack sizes, storage instructions and delivery timing.
