A backup power order should start with the equipment it must keep running. A router and fibre terminal, a work laptop and a gas boiler are different use cases. A larger advertised battery alone does not settle compatibility, charging time or what happens when mains power fails.
For a Ukrainian shop planning a first batch, the useful question is: which customer setup can this exact model support, under which conditions, and how will you verify it?
Separate the product groups
Prepare separate specifications for a DC UPS serving networking equipment, a portable power station and an inverter with a separate battery. Record the manufacturer's model and revision. Two products with similar cases may have different charging circuits, outputs or accessories.
For a boiler or pump, have a qualified installer confirm the installation requirements and the manufacturer's compatibility information. A sourcing brief is not an electrical installation guide.
Send a device list with the enquiry
- Device model and a clear photograph of its power label.
- Voltage, required current or power, connector dimensions and polarity where applicable.
- Devices that must run together, desired operating time and the available recharge period.
- Required behaviour during a power cut: automatic transfer, acceptable interruption and recovery.
- Quantity per model, spare cables, packaging language and delivery city.
For internet equipment, confirm that the provider's connection remains available during an outage. Powering the router does not establish that the upstream network will work.
Turn runtime claims into a sample check
Ask which load, ports, temperature and battery condition were used for a stated runtime. Compare usable output energy rather than treating an isolated mAh figure as a complete specification. Record both the result and the test conditions.
A practical sample brief can include the agreed router and terminal operating together, transfer behaviour when mains power is removed, and time to recharge while the devices remain connected. Agree who can perform each test and with what equipment; do not assume a warehouse appearance check establishes electrical safety or battery durability.
Compare the full offer
Request the exact included cables, battery details, carton size, replacement-part availability and written after-sales procedure. Battery transport eligibility, documents and charges need confirmation for the actual product and route. Keep unresolved items separate from the quoted price.
